project accepted

Project Accepted is an event devoted to alumni conducting practice college interviews with Bronx Science seniors. Project Accepted is an opportunity for students to meet with alumni for personalized help on how to prepare, practice and finesse their interview skills, develop their personal brand and hone their strategy for applying to college. Students need alumni help to learn how to stand out and put their best foot forward. Hundreds of alumni participate every fall allowing us to conduct more than 800 individual practice interviews.

college supplements

College supplements—the application components specific to each college—constitute the most important part of the college application process. We put Bronx Science alumni in touch with current students who want to attend their alma mater, to review the supplements together. This personalized feedback helps students excel on their applications.

ALUMNI IN THE CLASSROOM

We invite distinguished alumni to share their stories with students—their own experiences at Bronx Science and the trajectories their lives have taken since graduation. This series gives students special insight into the ways Bronx Science opens doors. The intimate classroom setting creates a strong sense of connection among students and alumni that many of our students find truly inspirational.

site visits

One of the most effective ways to prepare students for careers is by giving them an opportunity to visit a company and learn from professionals there. Our visits have included Google, Tesla, Facebook, Regeneron, NASA, Microsoft and more. Alumni who are willing to host students at their company should please let us know at alumnifoundation@bxscience.edu.
