We are so fortunate at Bronx Science to have an alumni network of visionaries and leaders who are shaping the future of industry. We believe it is important to help our talented students nurture their own visions and ambitions — and become the problem-solvers and changemakers of tomorrow.
That is why we are excited to launch our unique, brand-new summer initiative: the Entrepreneurship Lab!
The Bronx Science Entrepreneurship Lab is an enriching, immersive summer program for Bronx Science students to develop their own business ideas and learn from Bronx Science alumni with a wealth of knowledge and experience across every major sector.
The Entrepreneurship Lab will position our school as an entrepreneurial hub for students and alumni, and we’re energized to get started.
Here’s how you can get involved and help shape the Entrepreneurship Lab experience for our students. Bronx Science alumni have the opportunity to fulfill a myriad of roles in the program, including:
Team Mentor – the go-to resource for student teams of approximately 4-6 students. Team mentors will work with teams remotely on a wide variety of topics such as strategy, operations, marketing, finance, human capital and how to transform an idea into a legitimate course of action.
Functional Specialist – experts in law, finance, marketing and more to consult all student teams over the course of the program in their specific areas of business.
Content Leads – most needed at the Entrepreneurship lab! We have identified a number of key topics and core competencies that we believe are crucial to helping our student participants understand. We are looking for alumni to deliver the content on these key areas. Please see the schedule here and let us know where you can help.
Keynote Speaker – entrepreneurial alumni who have started a business or been an early employee to share their own career path, the story of how their company came to be and lessons learned along the way.
Job Shadows – enable students to experience the life of an entrepreneur by allowing at least two students to join your workday from start to finish.
All talks can be delivered virtually if preferred.
