School Year 2018-2019 Highlights
The first three months of the school year at Bronx Science have been off to a great start. Some highlights:
National Merit Semifinalists – 37 students in the Class of 2019 were named national merit semifinalists!
National Hispanic Recognition – 16 students in the Class of 2019 were named National Hispanic Recognition scholars
Athletics – The Boys Badminton team won the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) City Championship!
Speech & Debate – The Public Forum team of Ben Oestericher ’20 and Elias Silver ’20 recently were named the Champions at the Yale Invitational and the Glenbrooks – two of the most competitive tournaments in the nation. President Sydney Teh ’19 won the Congressional Debate division at Villiger.
Moot Court - The Bronx Science Moot Court team is in the finals and competes against Brooklyn Tech tomorrow for the championship!
Bronx Science Drama Department - The Drama Department recently put on an excellent production of Letters to Sala, a powerful Holocaust story of survival and memory.
It is a great start and we looking forward to even more accomplishments as the year progresses.
