Dear Fellow Bronx Science Alumni,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2015-2016 school year.
We anticipate great things this school year. Our more than 3,000 students and 150 teachers are already engaged in their classes and extracurricular activities. Athletic teams have already started practicing and games are underway. Auditions are underway for the school play, Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. Our Speech & Debate Team is planning to attend five tournaments in September alone. There remains something for every student at Bronx Science and it is inspiring to see how our students take advantage of all that Bronx Science has to offer.
And students continue to challenge themselves with rigorous academic programs with Advanced Placement courses and our high level electives like Genetics, Experimental Engineering, Game Programming and more. Our students and faculty work very hard and their hard work pays off. Our students are engaged and inspired learners.

What helps Bronx Science stand out from our peers is the extraordinary involvement of our alumni. Our school continues to be an active, vibrant place with a number of extraordinary programs for students and alumni. I encourage all of you to get involved this year. Project Accepted on September 26th is a terrific way to give back by helping our students practice their interview skills.
I look forward to seeing many of you this year and thank you for your support for Bronx Science students.
Principal Jean M. Donahue '77, Ph.D
